I’ve always been a big believer in the power of music to help pull me through the lows of life.

If you’re anything like me, hearing a fateful song on the radio or stumbling across the most perfect playlist can be total mood changers. I like to think someone or something out in the universe knew just what musical inspiration I needed to keep pushing through. Sometimes, it’s almost too perfect to ignore.

Here lately, the song that’s been resonating with me over and over again keeps finding a way back into my life; Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” is everything to me right now, and it’s the perfect motivation no matter what I’m trying to accomplish in my day.

The last couple of weeks have led to big life changes that have been simultaneously the most exciting and intimidating time of my life. But then…Rachel comes on my Spotify or YouTube or the radio…and I’m reminded that with my own passion and fire in my bones, I can stand up to the intimidation with confidence and remind it that this battle is far from over.

No matter your struggle or battle or situation you’re experiencing this week, keep in mind that you started it for a reason. You are where you are because there’s a purpose behind it, and it’s up to you to stand up for it and see your dreams through. Trials test us and may knock us down, but that’s the perfect time to get back up and fight even harder for your dream. If you want something badly enough and you work SO hard to get even the tiniest glimpse of your goal realized, you’ll be able to stand firm in your dreams and desires, whatever they may be.

This week, focus on overcoming a struggle or hurdle you’ve been given and use that momentum to keep pushing forward. And if you need a little boost? Crank up “Fight Song” and print the freebie sign below to keep nearby while you work toward your dreams each and every day.
