Yes, that’s right — it’s National Handwriting Day, and that’s more than enough reason to celebrate!! (Throw Friday in the mix and you’ve got yourself a party, folks.)

In honor of National Handwriting Day, I decided to do all of my blogging today in a handwriting font. It’s not my handwriting…but it sure is cute! I could get used to this.

Also in honor of the day, I’ll be posting all of my tweets as old school, handwritten notes! Follow me by clicking here so we can connect. I promise I only tweet the coolest of cool things. Like handwritten love notes.

I’ve always loved practicing my handwriting, filling the space with doodles and swirls and dotting the i’s with tiny hearts. This may also be the reason I fell in love with snail mail and sending sweet notes to friends for special occasions. Or just whenever. Because there’s never a bad time to send a “hello” card to a friend!

And it wouldn’t be Friday without a Friday Roundup! Except this week, we’re paying respect to the national holiday, and I’m sharing some of my very favorite free handwriting fonts from around the web! Click the links below the image to view and download. Or share your favorite handwriting font in the comments below; I’d love to check it out!

Happy writing!!
